The request was successful.

Dear Department for Transport,

Out of the 18 pedestrians killed on the motorway in 2015 is it possible to tell me how many were road workers ?

Or, in total how many road workers have been killed whilst working in 2015?

Yours faithfully,

Fiona Dennehy

Dear Fiona

None of the 18 pedestrian fatalities on motorways in Great Britain during
2015 were recorded as being road maintenance workers.

Likewise, no pedestrian road maintenance workers were recorded as being
killed in a road traffic accident on any road in 2015. A total of nine
road maintenance workers were recorded as being seriously injured and 52
were recorded as being slightly injured in 2015.

Kind regards,
