Our response is:
1/Could you please tell me how many road sweepers SKDC employ for road cleaning. We have four large sweepers and four small sweepers
2/Could you tell me how many days they each work. They all work Monday to Friday plus we do some sweeping at the weekends.
3/ Do you cleaning the Highways on ALL Bank Holidays. The sweepers work on Good Friday.
4/ Do you clean Highways on Saturdays and Sundays. Yes

Thank you for your request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 dated 11/02/2019 11:08:47. A summary of your request is as follows:
Request Summary
On 1st April 2016 a new policy was instigated by SKDC for use of community rooms to regulate use. Part of this was a charge to be made for use/hire of the room at the sheltered or communal facilities. Any money raise was to be split and 60% of the revenue was for the 'Residents Initiatives Fund' This was approved by council on 29th Feb 2016.
1/Could you please tell me how much money was raised from this new charge overall and how much was sent back to the residents via the 'Residents Initiatives Fund' since its inception. Please itemise amount per Scheme.
2/ Could you please confirm if bookings have increased or decreased since this charge was made.
Our response is:
1/ The total amount raised through this each year is:
2017/18: £12,648 (60% = £7588)
2018/19: £14,322 (60% = £8593)
No money has been 'sent back' to date from the fund. The policy underlying this is currently being reviewed.
2/ Bookings of our community rooms/centres has apparently increased since this charge was made and the recording of bookings made more formal. It is difficult to say by how much due the less formal manner in which bookings were made previously.
