Dear Bexley Borough Council,

I would like a breakdown of road cycling injuries for under 16 years in Bexley over the last five years.

Would you be able to categorise? If you already have categories that is fine. Otherwise I had in mind something like:
• Riding on wrong side of the road
• Hit by car door (or swerving around)
• Hit at a junction
• Riding too fast or losing control.
• Child playing or doing tricks
• Rider losing control of their bicycle (no car involved).
• Rider failed to look properly
• Cyclist entering the road from the pavement
• HGV is turning left at a junction’

Also, could you say if the accident resulted in fatal, serious or minor injuries?

Lastly, could you say if they had attended Bikeability road safety training and if they completed this course.

Yours faithfully,

Abigail Johnson.
