Dear Mr Arif

TfL Ref:  FOI-1642-1112

Thank you for your email received by Transport for London (TfL) on 14
February 2012 asking for road safety audits for the improvement scheme at
Henley's Corner.

Your request has been considered under the requirements of the
Environmental Information Regulations (EIR) 2004 and TfL’s information
access policy. I can confirm that TfL does hold the information you
require. You asked:

Please publish all road safety audits produced for the recently completed
improvement scheme at Henley's Corner.

Please see the attached Henlys Corner Stage 1 and 2 Safety Audit with
Designers’ Response comments (separate document for the Stage 2 Designers’
Response).

An additional Stage 2 Audit was commissioned during implementation which
specifically considered the removal of all pedestrian guardrails at the
junction. This was conducted so that the junction complied with the
Mayor’s de-cluttering objectives. Designers’ Response comments are
incorporated in this document (Attached document RSA_2_PGR).

Following completion of the junction, a Stage 3 safety audit has been
commissioned and completed in draft format on 5 March 2012. The project
team are currently reviewing these recommendations, awaiting the final
report, and will be producing a Designers’ Response over the coming weeks.
Modification works as a result of these recommendations may follow and
will be implemented over the coming few months.

If this is not the information you are looking for, or if you are unable
to access it for some reason, please do not hesitate to contact me.

If you are not satisfied with this response please see the attached
information sheet for details of your right to appeal.

Yours sincerely
