Road repairs in Neston
Dear Cheshire West and Chester Council,
Please could you provide me with, preferably as a CSV file (or XLS at a push):
- a list of road repairs that have been carried out in the Neston area in the last 3 years, I am particularly interested in the location of those repairs, so lat/lng where available would be great, road name would do if that isn't available.
- a list of road repairs that have been requested for Neston in the last 3 years. Again preferably with lat/lng or road names if the lat/lng isn't available.
- a list of road repairs that have been carried out in the Tatton area in the last 3 years, I am particularly interested in the location of those repairs, so lat/lng where available would be great, road name would do if that isn't available.
- a list of road repairs that have been requested for Tatton in the last 3 years. Again preferably with lat/lng or road names if the lat/lng isn't available.
I did make a request via your open data site but didn't receive any form of response, hence my request as an FOI.
Yours faithfully,
Ross Jones

Dear Mr Jones
Further to your request, I have been asked to clarify with you what particular area you are interested in within Cheshire East. We know you are enquiring about the Tatton area, but is it the Tatton Constituency specifically, or the whole of Cheshire East? Without knowing what Cheshire West have supplied it is difficult for us to narrow down your requirements. Although the Tatton area is large, if it is just Street History Reports you require, we might be able to supply these, being mindful of the 18-hour time limit for FOI requests.
I will put your request on hold for now, and hope to hear from you shortly.
Yours sincerely

Dear Martin,
Yes, the information specifically for Tatton Constituency would be good. If it is easier to provide the whole of Cheshire East then that is acceptable.
Cheshire West were reasonably quickly able to supply me with information specifically for the Neston area. You can see the data they provided at https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/r... and it consists of:
A timestamp
A short description of the work.
The location of the work
Yours sincerely,
RossJones.
