contained within the national code of practice for highways maintenance
management.

In line with the principles of ‘Well-maintained Highways: Code of Practice
for Highway Maintenance Management July 2005’ (CoP), guidance for safety
inspections has been modified in the light of particular local
circumstances, and the relative risks and consequences associated with
these. The characteristics of the regime, including the frequency of
inspection, items to be recorded, and the nature of response are defined
by this Safety Inspection Manual, which is set in the context of Aberdeen
City Council’s (ACC) overall policy and maintenance strategy.

We hope this helps with your request.
