Road closures across the borough
Dear Southwark Borough Council,
Since social distance regulations were first implemented in 2019, a number of roads in the borough have been closed to car traffic.
I would like to know the following please:
1a. The rationale behind these closures
1b. All names of roads since closed to vehicle traffic
1c. Total number of above
1d. Which are temporarily closed (and til when), or permanently closed.
2a. The total number of consultations held with local residents prior, per each road closure, e.g. Green Hundred Road; 5 (including virtual appointments)
3a. Name of roads currently approved for closure but yet to be implemented
3b. Total number of additional roads in review for closure
4. Number of bus stops closed due to these closures.
