Road adoption by local council
Dear Department for Transport,
I would like to make a request to Wirral Council about the ownership of a road: North Drive in Heswall, Wirral, CH60 0BD. Please could you inform me of who owns this road?
If this road is not owned by the council, I would like to ask if Wirral Council has any plans to adopt it.
If this is not the case, I would like to know what measures politicians at national level are taking to get councils to adopt and maintain roads. Here, I am not thinking of new roads created by developers, but of historical roads which have remained unadopted for many years, perhaps even decades.
Many thanks.
Yours faithfully,
Dr. Anna K. Hultgren
