Dear Mr Chamberlain

Request for information RFI/05358

Thank you for your email dated 4th March 2013 in which you asked:

Please could you answer the following:

a) Of the 795 electronic responses to the Bridge The Gap campaign, could you please detail how many responses were received by postcode area (SE10, BR7, W14, etc)? If this will take excessive time, then please send a list of postcodes of respondents.

Please see the attached list which shows the requested information.

b) Could you please list all 205 businesses that supported the Bridge the Gap campaign, and indicate whether they actively supported the campaign or were included because of their membership of another body.

The Employer Engagement Team spoke to around 450 businesses during the period 25th to 31st Jan 2013. A number of businesses agreed to be sent the pledge email and they indicated their support for the campaign, as shown on the attached Spreadsheet. The Royal Borough does not hold information to identify how many of those businesses did actually sign the pledge. The figure of 205 is not known to us.

If you have any queries about this letter, please contact me. Please remember to quote the reference number above in any future communications.

If you are unhappy with the service you have received in relation to your request and wish to make a complaint or request a review of our decision, you should write to the Chief Executive, Royal Borough of Greenwich, Town Hall, Wellington Street, Woolwich SE18 6PW. If you are not content with the outcome of your complaint, you may apply directly to the Information Commissioner for a decision.
