Risk of contaminated land
Good Morning,
We are in the process of purchasing 41 Seville St, Brighton, BN2 3AR.
We have been asked by our solicitor to obtain written confirmation from Environmental Health Department that you are aware of the past use of the above area and have not identified the study site or any surrounding site as ‘contaminated land’ (as defined under Part2A of EPA 1990) or are not considering further action against the study site or any surrounding sites (either formally or informally) under this legislation. If you are considering further action what is the level of priority assigned to this site and the likely timescale of any potential investigation?
