The risk assessments and method statements prepared by Canal & River Trust (CRT) under the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations (PUWER) 1998 (SI 1998 No. 2306) and any post-execution reports for the purposes of towing within CRT's jurisdiction by CRT and/or its instructed subcontractors in CRT's capacity as Navigation Authority, in respect of the following vessels which were towed pursuant to the powers granted to CRT under Section 8 of the British Waterways Act 1983:

1. Tanith (CRT Index Number 505141);
2. Jam (CRT Index Number 118606) and
3. Serefe (CRT Index Number 62529).

Please provide all such documents within the date range 1st January 2016 to today's date.

Information Request, Canal & River Trust

Dear Ms Smith,

 

Further to your request of 1^st August and our subsequent acknowledgement
of 2^nd August, these risk assessments and method statements requested are
prepared and finalised by our contractor, Commercial Boat Services, as
opposed to the Trust. Commercial Boat Services are achilles registered
under the supplier number 061602 and under the contract we expect them to
undertake boat removals in a safe and reasonable manner, minimising risk
so far as possible. There are no post execution documents prepared by, or
on behalf of the Trust.   

 

If you are dissatisfied with the handling of your request, you have the
right to ask for an internal review. Internal review requests should be
submitted within two months of the date of this email and should be sent
