Can you supply the risk assessments that you actioned in the operational plan for policing the two protests held on 03/08/2024 one at the Pier Head and one at St George’s plateau, in particular the part of the plan that allowed the gold commander to allow the St George’s plateau protest to move from its position and match towards the opposing protest at the Pier Head ?

Dear Applicant,

I acknowledge receipt of your email received on 5^th September 2024,
requesting that Merseyside Police review its response to your request for
information concerning:

FOI application registered under the number DJ 2024 – 1059.

The wording of the applications was, “Can you supply the risk assessments
that you actioned in the operational plan for policing the two protests
held on 03/08/2024 one at the Pier Head and one at St George’s plateau, in
particular the part of the plan that allowed the gold commander to allow

I understand that you have raised a query regarding the application
response being invalid as it states No Information Held.

An internal review will be undertaken surrounding our FOI response - this
will be considered independently by the Information Security Officer. The
review will be conducted in accordance with the Merseyside Police review
procedure and every effort will be made to have a response to you no later
than the 3^rd October 2024,  (20 working days from receipt of internal
review request, as advocated by the ICO).

However, if it becomes clear that the review will not be completed by this
date you will be contacted.
