In March 2016 Kirklees Borough Council wrote to WhatDoTheyKnow.com asking if it would be possible for us to remove their response from our site.
The council say their response contains commercially sensitive and personal information; they say if the request was made to them now they would reject it outright and refuse to provide the document.
We have redacted some mobile phone numbers which our system does try to remove automatically.
We have sought more details from the council and have suggested they let any concerned third parties know the council doesn't control what's published on WhatDoTheyKnow and they should contact WhatDoTheyKnow directly.
