Risk assessment
Dear Essex County Council,
Pleas supply the most recent risk assessments undertaken for the following pavement defect cases (stating date and time of assessment, and location of the assessment). Any information that was used to assess the case (including photographic and measurement evidence) and to prioritise any response, is required. The consequence and likelihood scores will be required as will the priority rating and the reasons for that rating to be applied.

Dear Essex County Council,
Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.
I am writing to request an internal review of Essex County Council's handling of my FOI request 'Risk assessment'.
This is because while the photographic evidence has been supplied with some of the risk assessment information the Consequence and Likelihood scores have not been provided nor have the reasons for choosing the rating. These were specifically asked for in the original request.
A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/r...
Yours faithfully,
Mr R H K Everett

Dear Essex County Council,
Ref ECC13131818 07 22
Further to my request, review request and telephone call today I am requesting further clarification on your response. The review response shows me the notation used for risk analysing defects as being in the form RA2=2x1 It refers to the table of risk analysis which contains consequence and likelihood values for the notation. What it does not tell me is which comes first in the notation - the consequence or the likelihood.
Please supply this so I can make some sense out of you response.
Yours faithfully,
Mr R H K Everett
Dear Mr Everett,

Dear Mr Everett,
Further to my earlier email we have now been advised of the following by
Essex Highways:
The risk factor is the combination of consequence and likelihood
assessments multiplied together, in that order.
I hope that this is of assistance.
Kind Regards
