Right to Choose - ADHD

The request was successful.

Dear NHS Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland Integrated Care Board,

If you are registered with a GP surgery in England and you are referred by a GP to a consultant or specialist in mental health, you have the legal right to choose the organisation (qualified provider) to whom you are referred, as long as that organisation is providing that service in another part of England.

Can you tell me under the NHS right to choose agenda:
a) how many individuals since 2020 have chosen to receive an assessment and or treatment for ADHD from a provider other than your commissioned provider
b) Could you also tell me the total value spent on these private ADHD providers for the following financial years:
a. 2020/2021
b. 2021/2022
c. 2022/2023
d. 2023 – Year to date

James Brunger
