REview of police investigation

Paul Ponting made this Freedom of Information request to Cumbria Constabulary This request has been closed to new correspondence. Contact us if you think it should be reopened.

The request was refused by Cumbria Constabulary.

Dear Cumbria Constabulary,

It has been brought to my attention that you reviewed a 'case' relating to me by Lancashire constabulary.
https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/l...

Can for you first confirm if you reviewed this investigation?

If you did:
- What date did Lancashire constabulary ask you to review it?
- Which officer asked you to review it?
- Which Cumbria officer reviewed it?
- How was the request to review this case made?
- How was the alleged response given to Lancashire constabulary?
- Was I notified by Cumbria of the outcome? A silly question but I have to ask.

I will say that I have a number of printed and signed letters from Cumbria Constabulary that you may wish to 'refer to' before your response is given.

Yours faithfully,

Paul Ponting

They are running scared

Paul Ponting (Account suspended) left an annotation ()

They most certainly are. My solicitor is dealing with this. We have all the evidence to support the allegation and they cannot respond as it will prove the lie so they are simply ignoring the request. I have reported it to the the ICO.
