Review of Insolvency Regulation

Dear Department for Business, Innovation and Skills,

I would like to find out:

i) What initiatives / plans are currently in place to review the UK Regulatory Regime for the Insolvency Industry?

ii) Do these plans include for any changes to the current legistlation, i.e. the Insolvency Act of 1986 and the Enterprise Act of 2002? If so, will the Review consider recommending further Criminal Offences relating to these Acts?

iii) Which individuals are managing these initiatives?

iv) Who is sponsoring these initiatives at the Executive / Managerial level?

v) When did these initiatives commence & when are they scheduled to complete?

vi) Are any Terms of Reference / Scoping Documents available for these initiatives?

Yours faithfully

Chris Coomber
