Review of Deceased Patient Records 2

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Health and Social Care Regulation and Quality Improvement Authority should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear Health and Social Care Regulation and Quality Improvement Authority,

We have been informed by relatives of the deceased, that their report has been held back until next year and a complaint has been raised. However, others have been told that it will be ready in a couple of days.

1. Please can you clarify, when this report will be produced?
2. Please can you advise on the disparity in timeframes relayed to relatives?

Yours faithfully,

Lyndsay Eccleston
