Revenues from car restrictions

Richard Parnham made this Freedom of Information request to Oxfordshire County Council Automatic anti-spam measures are in place for this older request. Please let us know if a further response is expected or if you are having trouble responding.

The request was successful.

Dear Oxfordshire County Council,

I believe the fining revenues raised from either or both the bus gate / school streets is supposed to be ringfenced for spending on active travel measures. In light of this (and irrespective of whether or not my understanding is correct):

I wish to know what the revenues from the ANPR enforcement of bus gates in Cornwallis Road and Bartholomew Road in Oxford have been spend on.

I also wish to understand what the revenues from the ANPR-enforced school streets near Larkrise Primary School, St Ebbe’s Primary School and Windmill Primary School.

Please provide me with any analysis / report (s), which summarises what the fining revenues from the Cowley bus gate / Oxford School Streets schemes has been spent on - ideally since the schemes were first established, but I would also accept an indicative report, perhaps for one financial or calendar year.

Please also send me any guidance in the council's possession, which states / specifies what types of schemes revenues from bus gates / school streets SHOULD BE/ Is PERMITTED to be spent on.

Yours faithfully,

Richard Parnham
