Thank you for your Freedom of Information request dated 17/07/2014 shown
below regarding Revenues and Benefits Temporary Staff. Please accept our
apologies in the delay getting this response to you.

 

1.     Current suppliers of agency/contract/offsite processing staff
within Revenues & Benefits.

 

The Royal Borough of Greenwich contracts Manpower as its single provider
of agency workers.  Manpower contracts with a panel of recruitment
agencies to fulfil the Council’s requirements.

 

2.     Current number of agency/contract/offsite processing staff within
Revenues & Benefits and job titles.

 

As at w/e 01/06/14 there were 30 agency workers assigned to Revenues and
Benefits providing cover across the following job titles:

·         Benefits Assessors
·         Revenues and Benefits Advisors
·         Revenues Officers
·         Welfare Benefits & Assessments
Officers

 

3.     Total spend on agency/contract/offsite processing staff in
financial year 2013/14 within Revenues & Benefits and breakdown per
supplier, along with the number of days used.

 

2013/2014 Revenues and Benefits agency spend:   £1,103,676.

This spend relates to 46,132 invoiced agency working hours.
