Revenue Policy: Staff Briefing Notice
Dear Transport for London,
I wish to request the following information under the terms of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 'The Act'.
In order to assist you with this request, I am outlining my query as specifically as possible. As you will understand, this may not be a definitive list of relevant information.
You should also be aware that it is a requirement of the act to respond within 20 working days.
You maybe aware the act provides a duty on yourselves to assist requesters.
Please provide me the following:
1. A copy of all "Staff Briefing Documents" issued for the following years
1.1 2013 so far
1.2 2012
1.3 2011.
I am namely after the "Customer Experience, Revenue Policy: Staff Briefing Notice" or other such names as they may be known.
Notices similar to notice 35 "child temporary discount".
2. Please can you tell me why you are NOT advertising the "temporary child discount" policy, and would rather have children without zip cards get overcharged?
If the documents are to be withheld, then only the 'relevant' material must be redacted and still sent to me redacted..
Yours faithfully,
I Madder

Dear I Madder
Our ref: FOI-0759-1314
Thank you for your email received on 29 July 2013 asking for copies of
staff briefing documents.
Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of
Information Act 2000 and our information access policy. I can confirm that
we do hold the information you require.
Please find attached copies of the relevant Staff Briefing Notices with
regards to Revenue Policy.
We are not promoting the temporary child discount, as it is a trial. We
are using this trial to test our processes and gauge customer and staff
reaction to it. Those without Zip Oyster photocards can still buy single
and return tickets (for rail journeys) and Day Travelcards at the child
rate.
If this is not the information you are looking for, or if you are unable
to access it for some reason, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to
appeal as well as information on copyright and what to do if you would
like to re-use any of the information we have disclosed.
Yours sincerely
