Revenue from adwords on your website

S Smith made this Freedom of Information request to Nottingham City Council

This request has been closed to new correspondence from the public body. Contact us if you think it ought be re-opened.

The request was successful.

Dear Nottingham City Council,

I notice you run adverts on your website.

Under the Freedom of Information Act, I would like the following:

1. a breakdown of revenue to the council by month or quarter (whichever you have) from running these ads since June 2008, and any copies impact assessments, considerations or other similar of running these ads (either specifically or in general).

2. Please provide a copy of the document that formally approved the inclusion of adverts on the site - if it may be redacted for commercial confidentiality, the section of the document I'm specifically interested in is the name and position of the person in Nottingham Council who approved their inclusion.

3. Please provide a breakdown (by month or quarter) of the number of complaints received about such adverts since they were installed. If they are not categorised that specifically internally, please provide the counts for whatever category such a complaint would go into, and a description of the contents of the category.

If the information is not held going back that far, for questions 1 and 3, information for the last year (either calendar or financial) will suffice.

Yours faithfully,

S Smith
