Returning Officer

The request was partially successful.

Dear Southampton City Council

In relation to the 2010 May Southampton Member of Parliament election can you please provide me with the names of the returning officer/s who submitted and have been paid the largest claims for their fees associated with their duties.

Please note that if a returning officer had responsibility for more than one constituency and claimed for more than one then these sums should be added together to get the total figures.

For each individual state (i) their name, (ii) the total amount claimed, (iii) the names of all the constituencies that they claimed for and if they claimed for local elections as well,(iv)the maximum fee in total that they could have claimed under the legislation.

Yours faithfully,

Stuart Appleby
