Retired Police Officers and Police Staff re-employed as Consultants
Dear South Wales Police,
I would like to know the following:
1. How many Retired Police Officers and Police Staff have been re-employed back into Force as Consultants and their "Job" roles.
2. I would also like to know the cost of the daily consultancy fee paid to retired police officers and retired police staff (per persons) over the last 3 years?
3. How many days were the retired officers and staff re-employed?
4. How many retired officers and police staff are still employed on a consultancy fee basis in 2016?
I would like the date range between 02/01/2013 to current.
Yours faithfully,
Tom Jenkins

Dear Margaret Jenkins,
I write in relation to your request for information regarding retired
police officers and staff who have been re-employed by the force as
‘consultants’.
It is not possible to progress your request at this time, as clarification
is needed from you to enable us to locate the information you have asked
for.
We can provide you with details in relation to retired officers/staff who
have returned to work as ‘consultants’ within the Learning and Development
Services for training purposes, can you clarify if this is the type of
information you are looking for. If not can you confirm if there is a
specific department within the force which you are interested in receiving
data about, as to contact each Basic Command Unit and all departments
within the force for the information would be likely to exceed the 18
hours allowed for FOI Requests.
In line with the Freedom of Information Act 2000 Section 10(6), the 20
working day timescale will be suspended until the required clarification
has been received, restarting on the date when the information is
received. If we do not receive clarification from you then your request
will be closed 20 working days from the date of this email.
Kind Regards,
