Dear Cambridge City Council,

I would like to request the release of the following background documents relating to the proposal for "Restorative Justice - Neighbourhood Resolution Panels" presented to Cambridge City Council's Community Services Scrutiny Committee on the 15th of March 2012.

1. The "evaluation of how community resolution panels are working in Sheffield carried out by Sheffield City Council, over the period May 2009 to October 2010" as referred to in the document "Restorative Justice – A Proposal for Cambridge" presented to the committee.

2. The "university research" evaluating the Sheffield City Council restorative justice panels referred to by city council officer Bisset when presenting her report to the committee.

3. Correspondence with the police, magistrates and the probation service in relation to the proposal, including specifically any material supporting the statement in the proposal document: "At present Cambridgeshire Constabulary believes that the range of offences to which RJ could be applied would be those where a gravity score of two or more would apply, excluding those that involves drugs, weapons or a sexual motivation."

Regards,
