Responsive Maintenance
Dear Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust,
The following questions pertain to the procurement process for responsive maintenance the NHS trust/Hospital:
Which team commissions and evaluates tenders?
Does the trust tender for individual specialist contracts such as day to day and electrical, or, responsive maintenance in its entirety?
Are responsive maintenance providers appointed through a framework or by individual contract?
How many responsive maintenance are currently appointed to this framework?
What was the trusts annual spend on responsive maintenance 2010/2011 (or other year if not available)? If responsive maintenance is provided through a framework, what was the framework value for this year (or other)?
Do responsive maintenance contracts cover all NHS hospitals in your NHS trust? if not, how is this broken down?
Which specific websites, approved contractors lists or notification schemes do responsive maintenance applicants need to be registered with prior to PQQ and/or tender application?
Please list all the pre-requisite accreditations, technical standards, health and safety standards and qualifications necessary to pass the PQQ stage for NHS trust responsive maintenance provisionand to what they apply.
Are these pre-requisite accreditations at an individual or business level?
Please list any minimum size, turnover, set of insurances and length of business establishment required by a responsive maintenance provider in order to be included in PQQ’s and tenders.
Please send me a copy of the most recent responsive maintenance tender and award notice?
If you are unable to send a previous tender, what are the key criteria and respective weighting for responsive maintenance tender assessment?
Please outline any specific experience successful firms must demonstrate (in terms of capability, contract size, sites/buildings served)
Please list experience that responsive maintenance applicants must demonstrate for PQQ pass
In the previous round of responsive maintenance tenders, how many firms submitted a PQQ and how many of these were invited to tender?
Which firm is your current responsive maintenance provider?
Yours faithfully,
Vicki Ball
