Dear West Sussex County Council,
You will recall that previously, in line with my challenge to WSCC that its culture and governance is flawed, I asked for a copy of the organisation chart covering WSCC adult social care as at 1/4/2015 and the present day.
My expectation was that such a chart would clearly set out the key personnel and their responsibilities in a transparent and open way, for both the public and internal staff to be informed.
Your responses to date, whilst providing a copy of a telephone directory of adult social care staff, have confirmed that no such clear, open and transparent chart exists which is capable of being provided to me or published.
I have found certain information on key personnel in the following link -
and ask for the following information in order that I may construct my own organisation chart:-
Please list the responsibilities of the key personnel named from their job descriptions.
Please confirm the name and role of the officer that he / she reports to.
Please also identify the key personnel in identical or similar roles as at 1/1/2010 and 1/1/2015, their allocated responsibilities and person / role that he / she reported to.
Dear Mr Lewis,
Thank you for your enquiry, which has been forwarded to the appropriate officers for a response. The usual timescale for a response is twenty working days, that is by or on 30th October.
If for any reason the Council needs to extend this timescale you will be notified in accordance with the relevant legislation.
Please note that in 2012 the County Council adopted a position in principle that FoI and EIR requests to West Sussex County Council and the Council's responses may be published on the Council's website in a suitably anonymised form. This is in addition to the individual response to the requestor, and in line with the Council's commitment to transparency and open data.
