Divisional Manager of Policy and Partnerships

As required by Principle 12 of the "Code of recommended practice for local authorities on data transparency" published in September 2011, please provide the job description, responsibilities, budget and number of staff reporting to the officer who holds this post. The budget should include the overall salary cost of all staff reporting to this officer, and, separate details as above for any reporting officer whose salary exceeds the current threshold of £58,200.

Thank you for your recent request received 2 April 2012. Your request was actioned under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 in which you requested the following information regarding the City Council’s Divisional Manager of Policy and Partnerships

· As required by Principle 12 of the "Code of recommended practice for local authorities on data transparency" published in September 2011, please provide the job description, responsibilities, budget and number of staff reporting to the officer who holds this post.

The City Council can confirm that it holds the information you have requested and provides the following:

Please find attached a copy of the relevant job description which contains the responsibilities of the role.

The Net budget is £21,272,379 and the staffing budget is £3,553,830

62 staff report to the officer, of which none have a salary exceeding £58,200

I trust this information satisfies your enquiry."

I asked a follow-up question - requesting a breakdown of the budget, to which as yet (8 August) I have not received a proper response.
