Dear Ms Plewniak,

You have not provided me with the information I requested. Apologies if my request wasn't clear - to be clear I requested the housing association responses which informed the audit that you sent me.

Your web page introducing the audit says that in 2016 Southwark wrote to housing associations, asking for a list of the properties they manage in the borough. Your web page says that the Council received responses from the housing associations totalling 11,999 properties - please provide me with the responses Southwark received from each of the housing associations, detailing the properties that they manage in the borough.

For your information the web page on the Council's web site referred to is here: https://www.southwark.gov.uk/planning-an...

I look forward to hearing from you.

Yours sincerely,

Jerry Flynn

Dear Southwark Council,

Two months ago I made an FOI request for the housing association responses which formed the base of the Council's section 106 affordable housing audit.

A month later you sent me a copy of the audit itself, which was already in the public domain and already published on the Council's website.

On 11th January, I wrote to you explaining that you had sent me the wrong information and asked you to review my request and send me the correct information.

Nearly two months has passed and I have still received no reply.

I am therefore writing to request an internal review of my request.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/r...

Yours faithfully,

Jerry Flynn

Dear Mr Flynn,

INTERNAL REVIEW OF THE HANDLING OF YOUR FREEDOM OF INFORMATION REQUEST:

Thank you for your request for an internal review of Southwark Council’s
response to your Freedom of Information request, our reference: 2369899

You asked:

In 2019 you published an audit of section 106 affordable provision, in
which housing associations were asked to provide details of all the
affordable homes they manage in the borough.
https://www.southwark.gov.uk/planning-an...

Please provide me with a copy of all the details of the affordable homes
provided by the housing associations as part of this audit.

Your request for review:

You have not provided me with the information I requested. Apologies if my
request wasn't clear - to be clear I requested the housing association
responses which informed the audit that you sent me.

We have now completed reviewing your initial request for information.

In response to it, we are able to provide the attached spreadsheet with
combined list of Affordable Homes Audit undertaken by the Planning
Division in 2016.

Caveats:

·                There are about 14,379 properties on the list, so more
than the 11,999 stated on the website. This occurs when unstructured data
is manually input and passed from one spreadsheet to another. This is,
however, what we received from the Housing Associations at the time.

·                These are all of the homes that they operate and many
will not have been secured by S106 and the planning process.

·                The list is incomplete, because some of those contacted
did not respond, like L&Q.

·                We are unable to confirm whether we contacted all of the
Housing Associations operating in the borough at the time.

·                This data is five years out of date.

In addition, the only data that has not been included is any personal data
that is withheld in accordance with Section 40 of the Act – personal
information.

I hope this comes of assistance.

Appeal Rights

If you are dissatisfied with this decision you have recourse to the
Information Commissioner.  You should contact him within 2 months of this
response.  Contact details are:
