Dear Mr Davies,

Further to your email dated 20^th Feb 2018 asking Peterhouse to provide a
copy of your college's response to the 2017 and 2014 UUK USS valuation
consultations, we can confirm the following:

Both the 2014 and 2017 UUK USS valuation consultation was carried out in
the month of September in each of the relevant years.  Unfortunately the
College’s Governing Body does not meet at all during this month and it was
therefore not possible to carry out a proper internal consultation on our
response.  The College therefore decided not to respond to either of these
formal consultations.  The College’s Governing did, however, hold a
discussion about the UUK USS valuation consultation during the Michaelmas
Term 2017 after the closing date for the formal consultation.  As a result
of this discussion, it was agreed to send the attached letter to UUK which
explains the Governing Body’s views on some of the matters relevant to the
consultation.

Yours sincerely

Dear Liz,

Wonderful response - if only more employers had responded like this. Many thanks for sending.
