1. Do any of your emergency response cars have a caged off area for storage on the back seats?
2. If so, have they been crash tested?
3. Are you able to provide a copy of the vehicle risk assessment?

Dear North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust,

For question 2, please can you confirm if the RRV's have been crash tested as the response supplied doesn't answer my specific request.

For question 3, please can you provide the full risk assesment for the vehicle rather than a sample.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/r...

Yours faithfully,

John Anthony

Dear John,

I have completed an internal review into your request for information under the Freedom of Information Act. I am writing to inform you that I do not uphold the decision to withhold certain information as outlined in the original response.

As part of my review into your request, I have therefore requested a full copy of the risk assessment and sought the response to the remaining question you had. These are as follows:

For question 2, please can you confirm if the RRVs have been crash tested as the response supplied doesn't answer my specific request - The cars are subject to an independent vehicle assessment by the Ministry of Transport and are then certified to ensure that any alterations have been completed to the required standard. They are not crash tested and do not need to undergo this test.

For question 3, please can you provide the full risk assesment for the vehicle rather than a sample. - attached

I trust this information now fully completes your request, however, if you have any further queries, please email [email address]

Kind regards
Sarah
