Reference – Freedom of Information Request
Thank you for your request for information. Your request was received by email
on 22nd December 2017. Your request has been processed under the terms of
the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
I have now had an opportunity to consider your request and I have set out my
response below and in the attached appendix.
Request. Your query read
‘Please provide cumulative report showing number of hours
and type of short break provided to carers across the five HSC Trusts for the
year ended 31 March 2016.’

I would direct you to appendix 1 attached in response.
Please note that Trusts found the Short Break reporting requirements
challenging because of their reliance upon a range of reporting systems
(including manual systems) as a means of capturing activity around new or
developing models of carer support.
