Dear Northumberland County Council,
By law you should have responded to this request by 20th September. Is there a reason why you haven't?
Yours faithfully,
Gareth Davies
Dear Northumberland County Council,
I sent you this request on 20th August. When you made no attempt (beyond an automated reply) by the deadline in September I sent a request for an Internal Review of your response.
It is now approaching the three month anniversary of this request, and you still have done nothing. Before I refer the matter to the Information Commissioners Office as a clear breach of your duties under the Act, would you like to
a) Explain why you haven't bothered to reply, and
b) Set out a timetable for performing your duties under the act?
Regards
Gareth Davies

Dear Northumberland County Council,
Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.
I am writing to request an internal review of Northumberland County Council's handling of my FOI request 'Residents Parking Plans, Union Street, Blyth'.
I asked for details of correspondence between elected members and officers concerning a specific scheme; instead what I've received is a committee report (confirming that such a scheme exists) and some irrelevant emails between Democratic Services staff and others, mainly concerning a previous request on a similar topic from an identifiable member of staff at another local authority.
This simply isn't good enough; I'm not interested in how or why NCC's reporting system for small schemes fell apart during the pandemic - I want to know what has been said about a specific scheme, and when.
It is hard not to suspect that this response was rushed out because NCC had reached the 35 day limit for responding, and that NCC knew it wasn't good enough. Please try harder.
Regards
Gareth Davies
