Residential rehabilitation closures

Department of Health and Social Care did not have the information requested.

Dear Department of Health,

Please could you provide a summary of how many residential rehabilitation centres for addiction have been in operation in the UK from 2010, or from the earliest your records allow if 2010 records don't exist.

I would like to know many have closed over this period of time against how many are still in operation as of this year (or latest records).

Therefore, if the data could be provided on an excel spreadsheet separated by yearly basis that would be much appreciated.

If this data cannot be provided, please could you explain where I can obtain it?

Yours faithfully,

Mr. Wood
