Residential parking permit information
We have now completed a search for the information which you requested and
confirm that this Authority holds data relevant to your request.
The Response to your request is as follows:
Dear Chloe Tickner
The County Council is the Enforcement Authority for the enforcement of all
decriminalised on-street parking regulations within the Civil Enforcement
Area for West Sussex. However, through the use of Agency Agreements, it
has delegated the responsibility for the on-street enforcement service as
well as the management of its seven Controlled Parking Zones (CPZs) to
each of the District and Borough Councils.
Under these joint working arrangements, the County Council is not directly
responsible for the issuing of any parking permits within the CPZs. Any
enquiries regarding the number of permits issued or the overall
application process should be made to the relevant District or Borough
Council.
Therefore, provided below are the relevant e-mail addresses for each of
the District and Borough Council Parking Services Teams who will be best
placed to answer your questions:
Arun District Parking (Bognor Regis CPZ) [1][email address]
Chichester District Parking (Chichester CPZ)

Crawley Borough Parking (Crawley CPZ) [3][email address]
Horsham District Parking (Billingshurst and Horsham
CPZs) [4][email address]
