I am writing to find out whether you would be able to kindly provide me with a breakdown on research that is undertaken within your trust.

I would like to find out the following information:

- Total number of commercial research studies occurring within the Trust for the same periods.
- A breakdown of the number of these commercial research studies into interventional & non-interventional studies for the same periods.
- The top 5 therapeutic areas for research within the Trust.
The reason behind requesting this information, is to help me fully understand the bigger picture with regards to the clinical research that is currently being conducted within the NHS in the UK.
