Research waste in DFID-funded clinical trials

1. Please list the steps DFID has taken to meet the commitments it made when it signed up to the WHO Joint Statement in 2017.

2. Please list all organizations that received DFID funding to conduct clinical trials during 2018.

3. Please provide a list of all clinical trials funded by DFID that began during 2018. Please list the trials by giving their trial registry numbers (WHO primary registry ID number(s) for each trial).

Context: DFID in 2017 signed the WHO Joint Statement, making concrete and time-bound commitments to increasing transparency and avoiding research waste in the clinical trials it funds.
