For the year 1st April 2017 to 31st March 2018 21 people applied to have
their notification requirements revoked

 

As recommended as good practice by the Information Commissioner’s Office a

Dear West Midlands Police,

Very many thanks for your response to my FOI request (reference 020421/18.

You stated that in the period 1st April 2017 to 31st March 2018, you received 21 applications requesting revocation of indefinite notification orders.

However, in the Multi Agency Public Protection Arrangements annual report , the number of successful applications has been recorded as 44 for the same periods. This would imply that there have been more applications agreed than received.

I would be extremely grateful for some further clarification.
