Requests for deferred entry

The request was refused by University of St Andrews.

Dear University of St Andrews,

I would be grateful if you could provide statistics for the following categories, please, in reference to the History degree.

(1) The percentage of requests for deferred entry that are successful, after a non-deferred place has already been gained, and sent before August.
(2) The percentage of requests for deferred entry that are successful, after a non-deferred place has already been gained, and sent during August or September.

Both percentages are out of the total requests received for deferred entry after a non-deferred place has already been gained. The most recent statistics would be preferable, please.

Yours faithfully,

Cecelia Knight

Dear University of St. Andrews,

I would like to clarify my previous request about deferred entry. Please could the percentile statistics be given out of a total of the requests for deterred entry given in the specified time period, rather than in general. For example, hypothetically, out of all the requests for deferred entry sent in September or August, 23.4% were granted.

Yours sincerely,

Cecelia Knight
