on 13th June 2017. Your request has been processed under the terms of the 
Freedom of Information Act 2000.  
 
I have now had an opportunity to consider your request and I have set out my 
response below and in the attached appendices. 
 
Request. 
Your query read ‘Please could you publish a list of GP surgery branches in 
Northern Ireland? Please could you do this in the format ([Practice Number, 
Practice Address, Branch number (if available)] in CSV format?’ 
 
Response. 
The Health and Social Care Board’s (HSCB) partner organisation, the Business 
Services Organisation (BSO), maintains a full list of all GP Practices in Northern 
Ireland, and I would direct you to the relevant section of their website where you 
can find this information, at the following link:

Branch surgeries of GP Practices in Northern Ireland are not reflected in the 
data sets found at the above link, and I would therefore direct you to appendix 1 
attached for information in regards to branch surgeries.  
 
Please note that branch surgeries in Northern Ireland use the same Practice 
Code as the main GP Practice they are part of, and you may therefore

reference the information in appendix 1 against the GP Practice list on the BSO 
website to determine the main GP Practice in each instance. 
 
Please also note that some GP Practices in Northern Ireland are considered 
‘split’ Practices, where a Practice is ‘split’ across two or more locations but none 
are considered as the main or branch surgery. For clarity’s purpose I have 
included this information separately at appendix 2 for your information.
