Requesting information from Counter Fraud Services regarding the number of reports made regarding medical staff fraudulently claiming statutory sick pay in Midlothian in 2012

We're waiting for Ms. Herron to read a recent response and update the status.

Dear NHS National Services Scotland,

I am requesting information from Counter Fraud Services regarding the number of reports made to this service regarding medical staff fraudulently claiming sick pay in Midlothian in 2012 (January 1st 2012 - 31st December 2012).

How many of these reports were investigated to a satisfactory level?

How many of these reports led to some form of formal action being taken.

What would this formal action be?

How many reports were passed on to the Lothian and Borders Police?

How many reports led to criminal investigations?

How many of these reports led to successful criminal convictions?

Yours faithfully,

Ms. Herron
