Dear Slough Borough Council,
Can you confirm if its your policy that Rough sleepers in your area under SWEP rules are not transferred to their area of origin after one night?

This is to acknowledge receipt of your FoI request which is receiving attention
Dear Mr Smith
We accommodate all rough sleepers, if they are eligible or not, during periods of SWEP.
Slough Borough Council do not have a one night policy or system for those from outside of our area, we will however seek to re-engage all rough sleepers to the area, where they have a connection, if that is a neighbouring borough then we may advise they can stay at the shelter for one night/over a weekend and then they need to present to their own area. If the person is from further away we will try to make an appointment with the borough from where they do have a connection or seek to find out the shelter information for that area but we do not have a 'one night policy' as such, for any people placed within our SWEP provision
