Request to view and photograph & video BBC Wood Norton Bunker Site

Waiting for an internal review by British Broadcasting Corporation of their handling of this request.

Dear British Broadcasting Corporation,

Further to my request here: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/b...

Thank you for searching for photos/videos of the BBC Wood Norton Bunker site and finding that no photos or videos exist in any archives.

As such for historical research I request that myself and possibly 2 other represenstatives of the research group Subterrania Britannica be wlloed to visit the site and take photos and videos of the site for future historical archives. I am sure we would all be happy to share our photos and viodeos for your archives also. I am doing this under the auspices of FIOA because the information would be easy to obtain at no cost to the BBC as we would attend at our own costs and the only thing that we would require is to be given access by a member of staff who might guide us around the facility for say 1 hour.

I do believe there is a large public interest in this site from a historical perspective and to see what public money has been spent on so I hope this request meets with approval.

Yours faithfully,

Matthew Williams

Dear British Broadcasting Corporation,

sorry for the typos

Dear British Broadcasting Corporation,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an **internal review** of British Broadcasting Corporation's handling of my FOI request 'Request to view and photograph & video BBC Wood Norton Bunker Site'. I request this be handled by a Senior Member of Staff.

Its seems hard to believe that no photos or videos exist of the bunker at Wood Norton, however it seems entirely possible that saying no such photo or video exists is a way of avoiding releasing such material deemed by the BBC or Govt as too sensitive. Hence my offer to make such photo and video for you and others available by coming and taking it.

Else I would like a full explaination of is there a reason why I cannot be allowed to come and take photos and video or why the BBC who specialises in photo and video work have nothing of one of its internally well known locations bunker seeing that everyone trains there. What is the reason that we are being denied access to materials or the ability to create our own photo and video docuemnts there?

Can this letter be treated as a FOIA or non FOIA request in its own right for the ability to come and document the bunker, or do I literally have to put this in a separate letter, which seems rather a waste of time. However if another letter it has to be I am very happy to do this and down the line scale this to a full blown complaint and bring in my local MP to chime in on the matter if that will help expediate matters on giving the British public information on this site. Thank you for taking the time to help in this matter.

Yours sincerely

Matthew Williams
