Request Information regarding Council Vehicle Fleet and Maintenance of Vehicles
Dear Powys County Council,
I am the Managing Director of an Automotive Recruitment Company , the reason for my email is I would like to find out the following information from you .
1) Do you have an in House Fleet of Vehicles , ie Cars,Vans,Parks Equipment,HGV Lorries etc
2) Where are these Vehicles Serviced/Repaired , ie do you have your own Vehicle Workshops or is the work sent out to a Private company .
3) Do your Vehicle Workshops use Agency Staff (if you have own Workshop)
4) if you have your own Vehicle Workshops do you have a contact name and number please or email address of the person in charge of the Fleet or Vehicle Workshops
5) if the work is sent out do you have the name of the Company please

Dear Mr Jennings
Thank you for your request for information, received at this office on
15/01/2018, in which you requested details of the following:
Fleet Repair
The above is a summary of your request. The full details of the
information sought is provided to the officer to whom the request is
tasked.
Your request will now be considered and you will receive a response within
the statutory timescale of 20 working days as defined by the Act, subject
to the information not being exempt or containing a reference to a third
party. In some circumstances Powys County Council may be unable to achieve
this deadline. If this is likely you will be informed and given a revised
time-scale at the earliest opportunity.
There may be a fee payable for the retrieval, collation and provision of
the information you request. If this is the case you will be informed and
the 20 working day timescale will be suspended until we receive payment
from you. If you choose not to make a payment then your request will
remain unanswered.
Some requests may also require either full or partial transference to
another public authority in order to answer your query in the fullest
possible way. Again, you will be informed if this is the case.
The due date for responding to this request for information is 12/02/2018.

This is to inform you that your request has been considered and I can
provide the following response:
The Request:
I am the Managing Director of an Automotive Recruitment Company , the

2) Where are these Vehicles Serviced/Repaired , ie do you have your own

our own workshop facilities.
3) Do your Vehicle Workshops use Agency Staff (if you have own Workshop)
We have our own staff, but do hire in agency staff as and when required.
4) if you have your own Vehicle Workshops do you have a contact name and
number please or email address of the person in charge of the Fleet or

5) if the work is sent out do you have the name of the Company please. We
undertake all our maintenance in house, very occasionally we may make use
of local suppliers on an ad-hoc basis if there are capacity issues in
house. There is no one company we send vehicles to.
We believe that this request is now complete and shall be closed
immediately. Should any further information be requested regarding this
topic, a separate request will need to be submitted.
