I refer to your request for information received on 07 July 2023.  Please
see the information below in response to your request: -

Your Request:

If I could request for you to kindly provide the Wandsworth HMO Landlord
License Registry, including the owners names and addresses. It would be
greatly appreciated.

Our Response:

The Council is not obliged to provide this information as it is exempt
under S22 - information intended for future publication.

We can confirm that the Council is currently working on an HMO register
which will be published on Council’s website. Our intention is to publish
this register before the end of the year. This information will then be
available online at a cost.

As part of the application of this exemption we are required to consider
the public interest test. There is strong public interest in the general
principles of transparency and accountability. There is also a public
interest in the Council being able to publish information in a planned and
managed way. There is also a strong argument for us to allow everyone to
view this information at the same time. Releasing information to
individual requesters in response to FOI requests on varying occasions
could result in partial information being released over a protracted
period leading to confusion and inaccuracy. We therefore find that public
interest lies in maintaining this exemption. 

If you are dissatisfied with the information provided in relation to your
request, you may make representations to the Information and Transparency
Manager.  Any such request for an internal review should be made within 40
