Request for the current working timetables for all Glasgow Subway services.

Alan Wilson made this Freedom of Information request to Strathclyde Partnership for Transport

The request was refused by Strathclyde Partnership for Transport.

Dear Strathclyde Partnership for Transport,

Dear sir or madam.

Under the Freedom Of Information Act i would like to please request a copy of the current Working Timetables for all Glasgow Subway services.

I understand from looking on the What Do They Know website that someone else requested this a while back and you refused it. However i believe that there is no reason to refuse this as the other two metro systems in the UK - London Underground and Tyne & Wear Metro - both give them out freely without any issues at all. In fact London Underground even publish all of their current ones online on their website. Also Network Rail - which covers all mainline train companies - publish their working timetables for the entire UK mainline railway network.

For example here London Underground publish their working timetables online - https://tfl.gov.uk/corporate/publication... - and here Network Rail publish their working timetables online - https://www.networkrail.co.uk/running-th... - and here Tyne & Wear Metro have given out their working timetables - https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/f... - and here Midland Metro have given out their working timetables - https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/w... - so as you can see other railway operators have no problem with it so i don't believe that you have any reason at all to refuse this request.

Thank you very much and i look forward to your response to my request within 20 working days.

Kind regards.

Alan Wilson

Yours faithfully,

Alan Wilson
