Dear sir or madam.

I am writing to you to make a request for information under the Freedom Of Information Act 2000 legislation.

I am doing some research and gathering data regarding ENCTS (English National Concessionary Travel Scheme) bus passes and i am looking for some data from you to help with my research.

I understand that your council pays out reimbursement to bus operators every time an ENCTS bus pass holder boards a bus within the boundaries of your council area.

For each of the following fourteen financial years below i wish to know the total amount of money that you have paid to each bus operator in ENCTS reimbursements broken down by bus operator.

• 2008/2009
• 2009/2010
• 2010/2011
• 2011/2012
• 2012/2013
• 2013/2014
• 2014/2015
• 2015/2016
• 2016/2017
• 2017/2018
• 2018/2019
• 2019/2020
• 2020/2021
• 2021/2022

The ENCTS started on 01/04/2008 so these years should give me the data going back to when it first started.

So like for example in 2021/2022 you gave Arriva Bus £123,456.78 and gave First Bus £234,567.89 and gave Stagecoach Bus £345,678.90 and so on for each bus operator and then in 2020/2021 you gave Arriva Bus £456,789.01 and gave First Bus £567,890.12 and gave Stagecoach Bus £678,901.23 and so on for each bus operator and then so on for each of the fourteen financial years.

Note that those bus operators mentioned above are just random examples just to show what i am asking for and they might not necessarily operate within your council area. Those figures are of course just random examples too as i do not know what the figures are. But hopefully this explains what i am asking for.

You can provide this information in whatever format suits you. Ideally a spreadsheet like Microsoft Excel would be good or a chart in a PDF file or a chart in a Microsoft Word file would work too. As long as it is readable than anything is fine.

If for any reason you do not have data from all of those financial years than just provide me with the ones which you do have. Although i believe you should hopefully keep this information or be able to find it so hopefully you can provide it for all of these years.

It is important though that the data must be broken down by each bus operator and must not be just one combined figure for all bus operators. You must also name the bus operator for each of the figures. So i need to know how much was given to each company.
