I refer to discussions with Racheal Simpkin (planning) and Jenny Atherton. Please provide me with a copy of the pre application advice given to the applicant for the development approved in planning consent granted 30/9/2016 re application HPK/2016/0317. I act for Electricity North West Ltd who own and operate the high voltage overhead electricity line that crosses the development site and is now the subject of a claim for compensation.

Dear Sir

Thank you for your information request which was received by the Council
on 12 November 2018.  The matter has been dealt with under the
Environmental Information Regulations 2004.

I am advised that the Council’s response to your information request
regarding the above is as follows.

The case officer, Rachael Simpkin can confirm that she met with the
applicant’s agent Mike Green on the 26 May at Buxton Town Hall, attended
by both Monica Gillespie (Tree officer) and Pippa Home (Policy Officer) to
discuss the pre-application proposal.  There are no notes for this
meeting.

Discussions were predominantly landscape based as the applicant had
already demonstrated need through a government grant awarded.

A summary e-mail of the discussion sent to the applicant's agent is
attached. 

The Council has withheld personal information relating to individuals. 
This information is exempt under Regulation 13(2)(b) of the Environmental
Information Regulations 2004 and the Data Protection Act 2018. 

 

Under the Re-Use of Public Sector Information Regulations 2015, you are
free to use any of the information that you have been provided with by the
Council in response to this request.  The information may be re-used
subject to the terms of the [1]Open Government Licence.

If you consider that the Council has failed to comply with a requirement
of the Environmental Information Regulations 2004, you may make
representations in writing to the Council within forty working days of
receiving this letter under Regulation 11 of the 2004 Regulations.  Such
representations should be addressed to the Chief Executive, High Peak
Borough Council, Town Hall, Buxton, Derbyshire SK17 6EL.  The Council will
consider your representations and any supporting evidence which you may
produce and notify you of the Council’s decision within forty working days
of the date that the Council received your written representations.
