06/12/2016. You requested a spreadsheet holding the information of all the
Day Nurseries within the UK.

You also requested a list of all the names of the nurseries, type,
Owner/Manager, their email addresses, postal addresses, telephone numbers
and the website URL. 

I have dealt with your request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
Under section 21 of the Act, the Department is not required to provide
information in response to a request, if it is already reasonably
accessible to you. 

This information can be found (for England) from two sources:

1. [1]Edubase2 for local authority nursery schools and

2. [2]The Early Years Census (EYC) for information on private, voluntary
and independent (PVI) providers. Ofsted publish the data you seek on
Childcare providers as they are responsible for the Early Years Register.
