Request for Numbers of Mental Health Care Professionals

S Carroll made this Freedom of Information request to Department of Health and Social Care This request has been closed to new correspondence. Contact us if you think it should be reopened.

The request was partially successful.

Dear Department of Health and Social Care,

I am requesting figures for the Number of Psychiatrists, Clinical Psychologists & Counsellor's employed by the DHSC. If these could be broken down into the different Clinical Commissioning Groups(CCG's) within the UK.

What are the current waiting times for specialist long term psychological support within the CCG's? As well as nationwide?

Of those employed, how many are experienced & trained to a sufficient level to provide specialists long-term psychological support in the area of life long deep rooted trauma?

I look forward to your response.

Yours faithfully,
S.Carroll
